I'm Chai, Technical Lead at Shell Energy Trading in Brisbane. My team ships the tools that let traders bid into the NEM and WEM, from the DWGM Bidding Tool to battery and power station SCADA integrations, all running on Kubernetes.
Before Shell, I was full-stack at Canstar (Angular, Node, AWS) and won three state awards at GovHack 2017 with Team Freedom Fighters. UQ BInfTech, Certified ScrumMaster®, and CKAD®. I care about the details, a buttery scroll animation or a well-architected API, because time is the one resource we can't get back.

Previously: primary contact for electricity and gas traders, running MSSQL / PostgreSQL / Openlink Endur admin and keeping DR & BC procedures sharp.
